Lebkuchen originated from the honey cakes (Honigkuchen) that were baked by Egyptians centuries back being an offering for their deities. The Lebkuchen we are aware of now; however, was invented by monks in Franconia, Germany, or modern-day-working day Bavaria, from the 13th century. For the
